Urrrrrr......

I've been busy. I just moved! and my scanner is packed up still. Maybe more drawings soon? Until then, here's a terrible 5-second Flash BoltMan. :D

PS: There are overweight men in superhero costumes outside of the studio right now... ?
EDIT: RE Superheroes: It was the Trailer Park Boys filming something. Not so bizarre, however I did see a military plane flying VERY low over the city -- STRANGE!

^Mummer's Day! (Coloured this sucker with CRAYONS! 64 pack with built in sharpener!)
^The rough of a birthday card I made for a friend. The final version was inked with a brush pen.

I am hungry.

Three quikies; frogs, all looking in the same direction... from photographic reference.

^This guy was supposed to be a caricature, butttt he looked too much like the original (a horned frog).
^This guy made me laugh at the time, but I think I was losing what made the original image so funny.

FROGS ARE COOL!

Let's Rock n' Roll!

^An intelligent artist would have started out with a line of action, and possibly a gesture. I started with the head.

Agahbagagah 2

That drawing was bad! I deleted the post that used to be here, and replaced it with the following:

^Ryan was drawing a bucket one evening... so I did too. Inspired by playing not enough MegaMan 9.

^A poor drawing, but it makes me chuckle... so it's not really that bad of a drawring, is it?

^Gribbit with a 'stache. hehe^Trying to figure out some Critter construction...^Trying to redesign BoltMan for a little sompthin' sompthin'.

PS: Cave Story is an awesome game. It's coming out for WiiWare sometime soon!! Woohoo!

PPS: A bubble tea store is finally opening up here -- and on the way to work, too!

I am cooking Spaghetti

^ A quickie. I was going to paint this guy, but I instead decided upon a Photoshop filter. Now I'm a real artist!

Lots of floating heads... all facing the same direction... Again, I'm sorry!

Hey Guys, How's it Goin'?

It's been a nutty few months. My excuses for not posting are good... trust me!

^ Way old horse drawings that I found.^ EarthWorm Jim, obviously not my character. The new Interplay website had some of Doug TenNapel's recent EWJ redesigns up for a bit. They were really cool!

Sorry for the cruddy drawings.

More old doodlesss

^ I was telling my old beloved roommate, Mel, about this fly character I have. I was thinking of him as being big enough to smoke cigars, but she was thinking of him being so small that he could only smoke cigar butts!
^ There's a lotta problems with this sucker, but I still really like the drawing. There's something good going on with it.
^I must have drawn this guy really light, because I didn't know he was there until I accidentally scanned him! I don't know why I didn't work through the drawing, and finish it. I love how his cheek is squished up against his cigar. It's kinda cute, even if he's addicted to smoking!

^Gribbit... I think I was working on making a younger version of him. Definitely not what I want, but I think it's a funny

Do you ever feel like you used to draw better than you do now? It has a lot to do with how you were thinking while drawing. I've been in many different places in the past twelve months. Here's some more from my last doodlebook!

Four Month Old Sketchbook Doodles

My girlfriend has a plush dog, and I draw it.

Also, ^this frog was something I drew in another friend's birthday card. She seemed to like it, but I wasn't really digging it. It was originally done with markers (lines in brushpen), and the colors were so saturated that they killed my eyes. I liked it a little more in grey, but... I'll probably be embarrassed by this drawing in about a month!

The drawings in this post were lined with ebony pencil and brushpen. Brushpens are cool.
